Yes. A StartWise account can provide access to the US and UK workflows currently available. Choose the jurisdiction and workflow that relate to your document need. Your location does not necessarily have to match the jurisdiction of the document. For example, a founder based outside the United States may need a US document for a US company.
Is creating an account free?
Yes. You can create a Basic account, set up your business profile and explore the available workflows without purchasing a document. Drafting credits are required when you are ready to generate a first draft.
Is StartWise a general AI chatbot?
No. StartWise uses guided, document-specific workflows rather than requiring you to begin with a blank prompt. It combines guided questions, reusable business profiles and document-specific drafting logic.
Does StartWise provide legal advice?
No. StartWise Drafting is not legal advice, attorney review, legal approval or legal sign-off. Attorney review, legal consultations and bespoke legal services are separate paid services.
Is every document eligible for $125 attorney review?
No. The lower price applies only to eligible StartWise-generated US documents within the fixed-price review scope. Eligibility may depend on the document, its length, the changes made after generation, the applicable state or jurisdiction and the complexity of the matter.
What is the difference between attorney review and a legal consultation?
Attorney Review is document-focused. Use it when you already have a document and want attorney comments on wording, drafting issues, missing points or practical implementation.
A Legal Consultation is advice-focused. Use it when you want to discuss legal questions, concerns, strategy, options, negotiation points, platform risks or next steps.
Does using StartWise create an attorney-client relationship?
No. Creating an account, using StartWise Drafting, purchasing drafting credits, joining membership or generating a document does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is created only where legal services are expressly agreed, applicable conflict and onboarding procedures have been completed, and the engagement has been accepted by the responsible law firm.
